Recently, Phase-I (200,000-L capacity) of Nongwan Shuanglonggu Distillery's annual-output 1,000,000-L single-malt whisky project in Enshi has entered its final construction and completion stage. As the exclusive supplier of full-set core spirit-making equipment for this project, Shanghai Boben Light Industry has delivered all custom-built complete sets of malting whisky brewing and distillation equipment for on-site assembly. At present, equipment hoisting and positioning are largely completed. Pipeline connection, auxiliary system installation, equipment commissioning and calibration are in full swing, with all construction procedures advancing in an orderly manner as the project races toward scheduled commissioning.
The intelligent complete equipment supplied by Shanghai Boben Light Industry integrates traditional copper-pot distillation craft with fully-automatic intelligent control systems. Tailored for local raw materials and ecologically-sound water sources in Enshi, it enables closed-loop production covering mashing, fermentation and distillation. It will support the production of high-quality single-malt whisky with regional characteristics and fill the gap for premium local malt spirit production in the region.
Shanghai Boben Light Industry has dispatched a dedicated on-site technical team to oversee the entire process of equipment installation, interface integration and commissioning, with strict quality control over engineering and hardware. Upon completion, the project will build a localized, standardized whisky-brewing base leveraging local agro-ecological resources. Riding on the growth momentum of premium domestic spirits, both parties will jointly drive the industrial upgrading of Chinese-made malt whisky and empower local spirits to access domestic and global markets.
