How To Distill Moonshine

Nov 03, 2023

The Produce Process Of Moonshine

1.Moonlight liquor is a high-quality liquor traditionally produced, or at least illegally sold, typically whiskey. Its secret distribution is known as piracy. This name comes from the tradition of brewing at night to avoid being discovered. In the early decades of the 21st century, commercial breweries adopted this term due to their illegal reputation, producing their own legally licensed novelty "moonshine wine", including many flavor varieties. Here we go. These are in a sense inherited from tradition and typically follow similar methods.

2.A pot still is a distillation equipment used to distill flavored alcoholic beverages such as whiskey and cognac, but it is not a distilled spirit because it is difficult to separate similar substances. The pot still operates in an intermittent distillation mode (unlike continuous operation of the Coffey still and tower still). The pot still is traditionally made of copper and comes in various shapes and sizes depending on the quantity and style of the liquor. There are regional differences in the design of distillers, and some types are popular in the Appalachian region known for distilling private liquor. The alcohol content of canned distilled liquor is usually 40%, and the peak alcohol content can reach 60-80% after multiple distillation.

3.The raw material of Moonlight Wine is corn, which is similar to whiskey and belongs to the category of high-temperature distilled liquor. The difference is that after whiskey is brewed, it needs to be stored in oak barrels for a period of time (aging), allowing the wine to have a hint of oak fragrance. And Moonlight Wine omitted this step.
